(credits picture: http://www.fmsh.fr) Populism is on the rise in the West. But what is populism? How should we define it? Is it a new political phenomenon, or have we seen it before? Could Christian politicians learn from politicians who call themselves 'populist', or shouldn't we work together with them? In the began months, Sallux has worked on a publication about these issues. The researcher is happy to present the first outcomes of the study in the heart of the European politics. Different Members of European Parliament will share their first reaction on the publication. All those who are interested in the topic are cordially invited to take part in this discussion.
The event is hosted by MEP Bert-Jan Ruissen, member of the Dutch Reformed Political Party (SGP), part of the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR).
Deadline for registering is 7 November 2019. Registrations for this event have closed.
