As new tensions arise around the future of the eurozone it was the right moment to revisit the future of the Euro. The relevance of the topic became clear in the larger interest than expected when attendants defied the warm weather at 10 June in Utrecht, The Netherlands. The event was organized jointly with the CU|SGP delegation in the EP with MEP Peter van Dalen. This event sought to discuss alternatives for the current and future issues. The most important outcome of the event was that it is clearly becoming more mainstream to plea for a careful and social exit of Greece from the Eurozone (not from the EU). This means that the CPFE opinion is validated as time goes by and it becomes clear that the current policy is unsustainable.
